At the Northside Church of Christ we emphasize, teach and practice the bible.  WE believe it has the answers we need to face life’s most important issues.  Bible classes are provided for all ages.  WE subscribe to no human creed, and acknowledge the written word of God as our only rule of faith.

 

WE hope you will accept our invitation to study and worship with us.  Our bible classes are dedicated to an open investigation of what the bible says and teaches.  Our worship is organized using the same activities you can read about in the New Testament.  WE sing hymns designed to praise God and edify others.  WE pray, study the word, partake of  the Lord’s Supper weekly, and give an offering to God.  You may be assured that as a guest, we will treat you with courtesy and will not seek to embarrass you in any way.  WE will not call on you to lead in any element of worship, we will not ask you to make a donation or sign any agreement, nor will you be singled out for special attention when the invitation is given.  Yet, should you have any questions about anything we say or do, we will happily provide an answer to the best of our ability.

 

Sadly, many people are going through life without any real purpose.  They eat, they sleep, they work, they play and they die.  But the only way to find real purpose and happiness is to live a proper life before God.  Solomon, the ancient wise king, set out to discover happiness and the meaning of life under the sun.  At the end of the search, he rendered his  decision in Eccl. 12:  13, 14, “This is the end of the matter; all has been heard:  Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.  For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil. 

 

If the Lord were to return today, are you absolutely certain He would take you home with Him to heaven for all eternity?  There is no need for you to live in doubt and fear.  Let us study the bible with you.  Together we will find the answer which God’s word provides for such vital questions.

 

At Northside Church of Christ we are eager for all interested souls to come and visit with us.  WE are a warm friendly group of people who will treat you with hospitality and dignity.  WE meet on Sundays for bible study at 10:00 a.m. and worship at 11:00 a.m. and again in the evenings at 6: 30.  WE have a mid-week bible study and devotional at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday.  WE are located at 464 North Main Street in Jasper GA.  To arrive at the building from Highway 515, take Hwy 53 (also called Church Street) towards Jasper about a mile until you reach the main uptown area and then turn left on Main Street.  It is less than a mile to the building which will be on your right.  If approaching Jasper from East Church Street you will turn right on Main Street and again the building will be less than a mile on your right.  If you are interested in a free bible correspondence course, a free video bible study in your home or a visit from a representative of the church, write us at the address given above or call the church office at 706-253-6050.
